Generate a digest of your application files.
Provides a framework for message digest libraries.
Rails 4, much to everyone's annoyance, provides no option to generate both digest and non-digest assets. Installing this gem automatically creates both digest and non-digest assets which are useful for many reasons. See this issue for more details: https://github.com/rails/sprockets-rails/issues/49
An implementation of RFC 2617 - Digest Access Authentication. At this time the gem does not drop in to Net::HTTP and can be used for with other HTTP clients. In order to use net-http-digest_auth you'll need to perform some request wrangling on your own. See the class documentation at Net::HTTP::DigestAuth for an example.
Rack middleware which will look up your assets manifest file and redirect a request with no digest in the file name to the version with digest in the file name.
Faraday extension to enable digest auth
Rails provides no option to generate both digest and non-digest assets. Installing this gem automatically creates both digest and non-digest assets which are useful for many reasons. Currently supports sprockets only.
