Adds Math::TAU as the radius-based circle constant, equal to 2 * Math::PI. See http://tauday.com/
Generates 241 infinite sequences of plane, space, and multidimensional figurate numbers based on the book ‘Figurate Numbers’ (2012) by Elena Deza and Michel Deza. The methods are implemented using the Enumerator class and are designed for use in your math projects or in Sonic Pi.
Unity Captcha is a gem that use two levels of Captcha. First level is about Left Hemisphere: Logic and Math. Second level is about Right Hemisphere: Intuition and Drawing. This two levels functioning in complete harmony creates unity and this is the base design of this Captcha.
Adds a few methods to the Time class, more significant: strtotime which returns a Time object based on a string. also methods add and substract that allow you to do some easy date math (doesn't take leap months/years into account) also tomorrow and yesterday methods witch are like Time.now +- 1 day =~ to see if two Time objects are "close enough"
Using this package, you can do powerful pattern recognition easily from your shell command line using a simple suite of tools. Applications include music cateogrization, text classification, handwritten digit recognition, and evolutionary tree reconstruction. The technique is based on a very general theoretical notion of Kolmogorov Complexity, and so is undoubtedly applicable to many as yet unknown disciplines. See the webpage for research papers explaining the math behind these techniques.
This is a TeX-to-HTML+MathML+CSS converter class using the Javascript-based KaTeX, interpreted by one of the Javascript engines supported by ExecJS. The intended purpose is to eliminate the need for math-rendering Javascript in the client's HTML browser. Therefore the name: SsKaTeX means Server-side KaTeX. Javascript execution context initialization can be done once and then reused for formula renderings with the same general configuration. As a result, the performance is reasonable. The configuration supports arbitrary locations of the external file katex.min.js as well as custom Javascript for pre- and postprocessing. For that reason, the configuration must not be left to untrusted users.
bpm-finder-cli is a small Ruby command-line tool for converting BPM values into practical delay times, converting milliseconds back into tempo, estimating tempo from tap intervals, and analyzing local WAV audio files for BPM. It is designed for DJs, producers, and developers who need quick tempo math in scripts or terminals. For a full browser-based BPM workflow, visit https://bpm-finder.net/
