There is great benefit in adopting a standard library of exceptions. Projects and libraries can all assume the same set of exception classes will be raised and caught using the built in language rescue keyword which filters on class. It becomes especially powerful for building API's, where specific exception classes can be made to return specific HTTP status codes. This libary also provides helper bang-methods eg. unauthorised! for raising these standard kinds of errors
The weather in Moscow was terrible in that october. I was bored. Caught myself opening http://p.ya.ru weather page every couple of hours. And each time had to switch to the full-scale browser. But stop! I'm working in the termimal most of the time! Why should you use a browser for such a simple task?! I even call 'date' for current time. And so this simple gem emerged. Just for fun.
Need a way to keep track of your time, but get caught up in work? Or constant interruptions? Yeah you know who I'm talking about. Those people from the [abc] department always "NEEDING xyz FEATURE NOW!!!". Seriously though. I'm usually just loose track of time. I wanted an app that I could start with a task I think I'll be working on, but that get's in my face constantly to ensure I'm still working on it. And if I'm not any longer, provides an easy way of changing to another task, or if I have changed tasks and not already updated the app, would provide an easy way of changing the task of the previously recorded interval. That's what this is intended to do. Time Tracking. Proactively set what you expect to work on. Reactively modify what you are no longer working on.
