Create gear lists for your next backpacking adventure.
A tool for managing a TaskPaper file of project todos for the current directory. Easily create "next actions" to come back to, add tags and priorities, and notes. Add prompt hooks to display your next actions automatically when cd'ing into a directory.
A Seq is created with an array, and optionally a number of elements to return, an offset to start at and a default item to return when ended. Call #next to return the next item. A Seq::Random will return randomly selected elements from the array. A Seq::Lazy will lazily evaluate a block to get the next element.
This simple gem allows you to create a branch based on the existing issues in your preferred tracker. It integrates with PivotalTracker, Github and JIRA. Different workflows shall be supported in the next versions.
To create seed data based on your development database? Run the dump tasks, commit the files, and on the next machine run the laod tasks.
This project was created to improve code reading by passing the return method of a function as the first argument of the next inside a pipe block.
This is a simplification of a word puzzle created by the English polymath Lewis Caroll where the player is given a start word (e.g. WHITE) and a goal word (e.g. GREEN). One must conduct a chain of words, where, for adjacent words in the chain either the first two letters of one word are the last two letters of the next word, or the last two letters last two letters of one word are the first two letters of the next word.
Whenever I loop through an array, there are times I wish I could know what comes before or after the item I am currently one. Including prev/next index calculations. This gem helps you with that. However, it would be better for you to create your own since you will probably not like my way of doing it.
This gem preps a new Rails app with some of the best Rails gems and Jquery sweetness available( Twitter-Bootstrap, Devise, CanCan, Rails Admin, Spreadsheet, ) Not only does it takes care of the installation of these gems, it also extends your scaffolds to give aesthetically improved views. Further, apart from the standard scaffold views, it also creates an AJAX driven integrated view for your scaffold. It dries up your controllers and makes your models friendlier by adding schema stubs and standard validation options. Expect Cucumber integration in our next version
Autoguid lets you trivially add human readable uuids to all your models, a whitelisted set of models, or a blacklisted set. Indices are automatically created based on a configuration option. There's also a rake task that will backfill these uuids into resources that have already been created. To get started, include the gem file, run `bundle install`, then run `rake autoguid:install`. From there, edit the config/initializers/autoguid.rb file to specifcy your configuration. Next, migrate your tables with `rake autoguid:migrate:up` and `rake autoguid:migrate:backfill` as required. `rake autoguid:migrate:drop_all` will drop all autoguid generated columns and the data in them. You can always change the config/initializers/autoguid.rb file and rerun `rake autoguid:migrate:up` to add autoguid to new models.

This RubyGem contains a nice-n-easy funding projects simulation, called FundList. The sim runs in command-line, calling just the command crowd_fund (easy as that :0 ) You can choose the number of funding rounds and it will display the current stats of the projects. You can also create a '.csv' file to hold projects, with a current amount and a target. This file should be put next to the command when calling the sim. File structure: --NAME--|--TARGET--|--AMOUNT-- (This is just for explanatory purpose) Project,1000,100 (The commas must be put into each string of projects, without blankspace.) Have fun on this simulation. If you have any ideas, you can use the code, which already is tested, to create a new, different, sim! Good-bye !! =)
