SmarterCSV is a high-performance CSV reader and writer for Ruby focused on fastest end-to-end ingestion — not just parsing. It returns ready-to-use hashes with configurable header and value transformations, intelligent defaults, and automatic delimiter discovery. Built for real-world data pipelines, SmarterCSV supports chunked processing for large files, streaming via Enumerable APIs, and C acceleration to optimize the full ingestion path (parsing + hash construction + conversions). Designed to handle messy user-uploaded CSV while remaining easy to integrate with Rails, ActiveRecord imports, Sidekiq jobs, parallel processing, and S3-based workflows.
Given a Subversion repository, svn-transform creates a new repo that is by default identical, but allows changes to files, for example all or some of the properties on each file can be moved from the properties to YAML prepended to the body of the file. Primarily useful prior to conversions to other repository types such as git.
Rails' default update_attributes behavior is that when any validation fails, none of the data gets saved. However, in some instances this is not the most ideal behavior. If you import partial data which users then have the task of completing, not saving partially completed forms can create a really negative user experience and decrease overall completion (or conversion) rates. This gem encapsulates the logic I've used to ensure that partially completed forms still persist.
A class that wraps the Time class and makes it easy to work with most known time values, including various time strings, automatically converting them to Time values, and perform tolerant comparisons. Several time classes, and the String class, are extended with the ".easy_time" method to perform an auto-conversion. A tolerant comparison allows for times from differing systems to be compared, even when the systems are out of sync, using the relationship operators and methods like "newer?", "older?", "same?" and "between?". A tolerant comparison for equality is where the difference of two values is less than the tolerance value (1 minute by default). The tolerance can be configured, even set to zero. Finally, all of the Time class and instance methods are available on the EasyTime class and instances.

It supports adding a new resource, retrieve a list of project resources, and delet existing resources from the Project data. The API also facilitates retrieval of resource assignments information for resources assigned to project tasks. The API provides full access to a project’s calendar collection. Details about project calendars such as ID, name, and working days and time, can be read. New calendars can be added or deleted from hosted project data files.
