Configurable is a Rails 4 engine that allows you to set up config variables in a config file, specifying default values for all environmentspec. These variables can then be set on a per-app basis using a user facing configuration screen.
When using Sprockets 2.0 with Sass you will eventually run into a pretty big issue. `//= require` directives will not allow Sass mixins, variables, etc. to be shared between files. So you'll try to use `@import`, and that'll also blow up in your face. `sprockets-sass` fixes all of this by creating a Sass::Importer that is Sprockets aware.
This gem resolves basically two problems. --- 1. MySQL for strings(VARCHAR(255)) by default has limit 255 characters. And when developer left this attribute without any length validation, then it's possible to face with situation when user unintentionally or intentionally will pass in text field more characters. So, then, probably you will get 500... --- 2. PostgreSQL. The maximum number of characters for variable unlimited length types (text, varchar) is undefined. There is a limit of size in bytes for all string types: In any case, the longest possible character string that can be stored is about 1 GB. And when developer left this attribute without any length validation, then it's possible to face with situation when user unintentionally or intentionally will try to full up your database with lots of GB of 'important' info. --- Both of this cases, I guess, are not very pleasant. This gem adds default length validation for all string attributes. Except those which are already vlidated in standart rails way.

I wanted an app that I could start with a task I think I'll be working on, but that get's in my face constantly to ensure I'm still working on it. And if I'm not any longer, provides an easy way of changing to another task, or if I have changed tasks and not already updated the app, would provide an easy way of changing the task of the previously recorded interval. That's what this is intended to do. Time Tracking. Proactively set what you expect to work on. Reactively modify what you are no longer working on.
Grab and eval Ruby code via HTTP. You don't care about security, right? This gem is Dr. Nic's fault. We were looking for an easy way to run Ruby code that was publicly available on a web server, and though we've all written something to do this a time or two, we couldn't find a convenient gem.
