A window switcher: search for windows interactively using a patched dmenu utility (the gem fetches & patches it during its installation). This was originally made for Fvwm, but it's been rewritten to work with any EWMH-compliant stacking window manager. Requires a preinstalled jansson-devel C library. It differs from rofi & co in that it activates (brings up) windows _during_ the search.
DEPRECATED: The MyWeather2 API that this gem depends on has been shut down since approximately 2020. All API calls will fail. This gem is no longer functional. Please migrate to one of these actively maintained alternatives: - open-meteo (https://open-meteo.com/) — free, no API key required - openweathermap (https://openweathermap.org/) — free tier available The gem will emit a deprecation warning on each use. Original purpose: fetched current weather conditions and multi-day forecasts by geographic coordinates (latitude/longitude) using the MyWeather2 API, for overlay alongside Google Maps in Rails applications.
Prato is a library that simplifies the backend code required to support queryable data, by mapping parameters onto a table structure, allowing Prato to invoke Active Record methods like `.where`, `.order`, `.joins`, `.pluck` and others. The immediate use case for this is fetching data for tables in the frontend, and with a simple *Prato* table, it becomes trivial to provide any kind of filtering / sorting / pagination operations over an Active Record relation.
