SmarterCSV is a high-performance CSV reader and writer for Ruby focused on fastest end-to-end ingestion — not just parsing. It returns ready-to-use hashes with configurable header and value transformations, intelligent defaults, and automatic delimiter discovery. Built for real-world data pipelines, SmarterCSV supports chunked processing for large files, streaming via Enumerable APIs, and C acceleration to optimize the full ingestion path (parsing + hash construction + conversions). Designed to handle messy user-uploaded CSV while remaining easy to integrate with Rails, ActiveRecord imports, Sidekiq jobs, parallel processing, and S3-based workflows.

The Ruby curses library is sorely lacking some important features. This class extension adds a set of features that makes it much easier to create and manage terminal curses applications in Ruby. See the Github page for information on what properties and functions are included: https://github.com/isene/Ruby-Curses-Class-Extension. The curses_template.rb is also installed in the lib directory and serves as the basis for my own curses applications. New in 3.0: Major rewrite. Lots of changes/improvements. 3.0.2: Path fix
One important feature of DHTML is it's ability to move elements around the page freely, without having to be tied down to one single spot on the page. "Virtual Max" took full advantage of this feature and created his cool "floating images" script for our Dynamic Drive surfers to use and enjoy. It's a cross-browser script that moves any number of images around the page (by wrapping the images inside <div>s, and animating each <div>), each following a randomly determined path. Furthermore, the images are clickable, making this script not only insanely cool, but practical as well!.
