This tool approximates the [cyclomatic complexity](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclomatic_complexity) of a snippet of Java code, based loosely on [these rules](https://www.leepoint.net/principles_and_practices/complexity/complexity-java-method.html).

From {Quartz Scheduler's website}[http://www.quartz-scheduler.org/] Quartz is a full-featured, open source job scheduling service that can be integrated with, or used along side virtually any Java EE or Java SE application - from the smallest stand-alone application to the largest e-commerce system. Quartz can be used to create simple or complex schedules for executing tens, hundreds, or even tens-of-thousands of jobs; jobs whose tasks are defined as standard Java components that may executed virtually anything you may program them to do. The Quartz Scheduler includes many enterprise-class features, such as JTA transactions and clustering. This gem makes these available in a ruby friendly syntax
Correlates file churn (how often files change) with complexity scores to identify refactoring hotspots. Supports Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, Go, Kotlin, Rust, and Swift. Modes include hotspots ranking, triage assessment, CI quality gate, diff comparison, focus sessions, and timetravel history. Inspired by Michael Feathers' article "Getting Empirical about Refactoring".
## Cassowary [](https://travis-ci.org/timfel/cassowary) Cassowary is an incremental constraint solving toolkit that efficiently solves systems of linear equalities and inequalities. Constraints may be either requirements or preferences. Client code specifies the constraints to be maintained, and the solver updates the constrained variables to have values that satisfy the constraints. This is a Ruby port of the Smalltalk version of Cassowary. The original distribution can be found [here](http://www.cs.washington.edu/research/constraints/cassowary/). A technical report is included in the original distribution that describes the algorithm, interface, and implementation of the Cassowary solver. Additionally, the distribution contains toy sample applications written in Smalltalk, C++, Java, and Python, and a more complex example Java applet, the "Constraint Drawing Application".
