Pure Rust LZW compression for TIFF and GIF formats
Pure-Rust TIFF 6.0 image decoder + encoder + container for oxideav (None/CCITT-MH/CCITT-T4-1D/CCITT-T4-2D/CCITT-T6-G4/PackBits/LZW/Deflate/JPEG-in-TIFF-7/ZSTD-50000; 1/4/8/16-bit; bilevel/gray/palette/RGB/CMYK/YCbCr; BigTIFF; tiles; multi-page)
This Rust library provides a simple and efficient implementation of the LZW data compression algorithm. LZW is a widely used compression algorithm that can be used to reduce the size of data for storage or transmission.
Pure-Rust GIF87a / GIF89a decoder and encoder
A LZW encoder and decoder, fast and memory efficient
webcomp (WEB COMPressor) is a command-line tool that compresses files into multiple formats, including Brotli, Compress (LZW), Deflate, Gzip, and Zstandard. It helps generate pre-compressed files for hosting on web servers to reduce data traffic.
Tiny file compressor and packager on Rust.
A no_std collection of compression algorithms behind a uniform streaming trait, gated per-algorithm by Cargo features.
A zero-dependency, SIMD-accelerated GIF optimizer
file compression with retro formats
A library providing generic implementations of common compression algorithms.
This library provides LZW encoding and decoding capabilities with no dependencies and a reasonably fast speed. It is highly configurable, supporting both constant and variable code lengths, custom alphabets, usage of clear/stop codes... It uses LSB packing order. It is compatible with the GIF specification, and comes equipped with several presets. Eventually I'd like to add compatibility with other standards, such as the ones used for UNIX compress, PDF and TIFF.
Ruby bindings for lzws library (compatible with UNIX compress).
Pure Ruby analyzer of the GIF image format. Performs complete analysis of internal GIF block structure and streams it as an objects stream with metainformations of each block. Also can interpret internal structure by providing the simple object-like interface to base image file informations. Works above seekable IO streams, so allows processing of the big files too. Doesn't perform LZW decompressing, returns raw data for both color tables and images.
A pure Ruby GIF decoder and encoder with zero C extension dependencies. Supports LZW compression, color tables, transparency, and interlaced images.
A pure Ruby TIFF decoder and encoder with zero C extension dependencies. Supports uncompressed, LZW, and PackBits compression, RGB, grayscale, and palette color.
A Compression/Encyption All in one framework. No this is not sequential C/E but rather fully intergrated C/E built entirely from Ruby. Forking from both the LZW and Twofish source code and meshing the two into seamless platform for C/E/FT. RbShard introduces a brand new file extension (.rbs). Currently the file extension (.rbs) and its graphic (A cutout of the middle section of a ruby outlined in red and filled with black. on a black towhite center spectrum filepage) are still under development. RbShard as in future release v. 0.0.2 will only support the creation of .rbs. Development of a framework is currently UnD to support file transfer with on a secure SSL channel using a QEKM (Quantum Electronic Key Mangement) driver and a fully dedicated server. Currently this technology is considered 'Bleeding Edge'. and entirely proprietary in nature as this Gem is updated any feedback or assistance is more than appreciated.
