ruby_parser (RP) is a ruby parser written in pure ruby (utilizing racc--which does by default use a C extension). It outputs s-expressions which can be manipulated and converted back to ruby via the ruby2ruby gem. As an example: def conditional1 arg1 return 1 if arg1 == 0 return 0 end becomes: s(:defn, :conditional1, s(:args, :arg1), s(:if, s(:call, s(:lvar, :arg1), :==, s(:lit, 0)), s(:return, s(:lit, 1)), nil), s(:return, s(:lit, 0))) Tested against 801,039 files from the latest of all rubygems (as of 2013-05): * 1.8 parser is at 99.9739% accuracy, 3.651 sigma * 1.9 parser is at 99.9940% accuracy, 4.013 sigma * 2.0 parser is at 99.9939% accuracy, 4.008 sigma * 2.6 parser is at 99.9972% accuracy, 4.191 sigma * 3.0 parser has a 100% parse rate. * Tested against 2,672,412 unique ruby files across 167k gems. * As do all the others now, basically.
s = StdCapture.capture do puts "akakadaka" end; s == "akakadaka" -> true
Allows you to do example based pattern matching and queries against S Expressions (sexp).
Bond is on a mission to improve autocompletion in ruby, especially for irb/ripl. Aside from doing everything irb's can do and fixing its quirks, Bond can autocomplete argument(s) to methods, uniquely completing per module, per method and per argument. Bond brings ruby autocompletion closer to bash/zsh as it provides a configuration system and a DSL for creating custom completions and completion rules. With this configuration system, users can customize their autocompletions and share it with others. Bond can also load completions that ship with gems. Bond is able to offer more than irb's completion since it uses the full line of input when completing as opposed to irb's last-word approach.
Custom Puts is as it's name says, a customized puts command that will always remember you where are those weird console messages coming from. Sometimes even the Gems are printing to your console, find out which gem(s) is doing that by using `CPuts.override_puts` :)
Anytick extends ruby's backtick notation to do more than run a shell command. For example, it defines the def method syntax in backtick, and makes Ruby 2.7's arguments forwarding notation of `(...)' usable with Ruby 2.6.

Shortcuts for Active Record queries in the ruby console.
BlackStack Deployer automates what you already know how to do manually, but in a repeatable, scalable fashion. There is no magic here! BlackStack Deployer dutifully connects to your server(s) via SSH and executes the steps necessary to deploy your project. You can define those steps yourself, or by using pre-built task libraries provided by the BlackStack Deployer community.
ruby-dzen is a small wrapper for dzen2's in-text formatting With its simple DSL you can define what dzen2 display by using pure ruby code. Just define your app modules in a file, execute it and pipe the output to dzen. The simplest example is the following: app :hello do "hello" end
This library creates a common object graph for the RSS/Atom/RDF parsing classes in the ruby standard library. This allows you parse different feed formats and get back the same (or at least a very similar) set of results - item authors are accessible under an "author(s)" attribute, categories/tags/subjects are accessible under "category(ies)" attributes, etc. We do our best to make sure the data makes sense, too - RSS items lack an "updated" attribute, so we use "pubDate" to populate it.
