Because every time I create a new webapp, I think about how I should process user-generated content. Should convert urls to links and images? Should I allow certain tags? Should I convert all new lines to *br* tags? Well, now all that is as simple as calling a single method.
I should really do this at some point
This is a legacy project, do not use it for new projects. Ruby 2.3 and later should make this obsolete. kgio provides non-blocking I/O methods for Ruby without raising exceptions on EAGAIN and EINPROGRESS.
I suppose I should write a longer description someday.
