Add simple versioning to ActiveRecord models (TISS version). Each model has a to-many model named mymodel_h which records all changes (including destroys but not deletes) made to the model. This is the version used by http://tiss.tuwien.ac.at and substantially differs from the original version. If you want to use acts_as_versioned in your project we recommend to use technoweenie's version (can be found also on github)

RJS is a great Ruby DSL to write javascript. However, it's so tempting to write RJS directly in the views, and soon the views contain substantial controller knowledge (e.g. link_to_remote, link_to, etc) KRJS attempts to solve that problem by allowing dynamic inclusion of AJAX calls on HTML elements. When a controller defines a method (based on naming convention) that handles a client-side event, the rendering engine will do the wiring automatically - when the event happens, an AJAX call will be made to the controller's method which would ideally reply with RJS and update portions of the document.

Implement orderable trees in ActiveRecord using the nested set model, with multiple roots and scoping, and most importantly user-defined ordering of subtrees. Fetches preordered trees in one go, updates are write-heavy. This is a substantially butchered-up version/offspring of acts_as_threaded. The main additional perk is the ability to reorder nodes, which are always fetched ordered. It also inherits the awesome properties of acts_as_threaded, namely materialized depth, root_id and parent_id values on each object which are updated when nodes get moved.
