Fast and secure Base64 encoding/decoding. This crate provides an implementation of Base64 encoding/decoding that is designed to be resistant against software side-channel attacks (such as timing & cache attacks), see the documentation for details. On certain platforms it also uses SIMD making it very fast. This makes it suitable for e.g. decoding cryptographic private keys in PEM format. The API is very similar to the base64 implementation in the old rustc-serialize crate, making it easy to use in existing projects.

A lock-free logger compatible with Ruby 2.0. Ruby does not allow you to request a lock in a trap handler because that could deadlock, so Logger is not sufficient.

This is a library to simulate SSL and TLS handshake from SSLv2, SSLv3, to TLS 1.0-1.2. It does not rely on OpenSSL and is not designed as a replacement either. It targets full support for even older handshakes, which are not available in current releases of OpenSSL anymore. It also aims to be executable on all systems with a sufficiently modern version of Ruby without any additional requirements or pre-compiled binaries.
This gem will check if there the code has sufficient amount of comments. This can be used in tools such as Jenkins to check if the comment meets the expected quantity.
Libsoup bindings for ruby. Partial coverage sufficient to allow HTTP requests to be handled without blocking the mainloop. e.g require 'gtk2' require 'soup' message = Soup::Message.new("GET", "http://www.example.com/") Soup::SessionAsync.new.queue(message) do |_sess,_mess| puts "Got response" Gtk.main_quit end Gtk.main
Gtk Webkit bindings for ruby. Partial coverage sufficient to embed a webview in a Ruby-GNOME2 application. Also initial/experimental support for allowing ruby code to be called by javascript & executing javascript from ruby. e.g require 'gtk2' require 'webkit' v = WebKit::WebView.new v.main_frame.setup_ruby puts v.main_frame.exec_js("ruby_eval('RUBY_DESCRIPTION')") puts v.main_frame.exec_js("document.root.innerHTML")
Inline allows you to write foreign code within your ruby code. It automatically determines if the code in question has changed and builds it only when necessary. The extensions are then automatically loaded into the class/module that defines it. You can even write extra builders that will allow you to write inlined code in any language. Use Inline::C as a template and look at Module#inline for the required API. == Features/Problems: * Quick and easy inlining of your C or C++ code embedded in your ruby script. * Extendable to work with other languages. * Automatic conversion between ruby and C basic types * char, unsigned, unsigned int, char *, int, long, unsigned long * inline_c_raw exists for when the automatic conversion isn't sufficient. * Only recompiles if the inlined code has changed. * Pretends to be secure. * Only requires standard ruby libraries, nothing extra to download.
