A Ruby library to work with Microsoft Windows' Win32 window management APIs, including search, enumeration, and window manipulation.
The windows-pr library is a collection of Windows functions and constants pre-defined for you using the windows-api library. It also autogenerates explicit ANSI and Wide character versions of those functions, as well as constants that can be used as methods, e.g. CloseHandle() instead of CloseHandle.call().
The WindowsError gem provides an easily accessible reference for standard Windows API Error Codes. It allows you to do comparisons as well as direct lookups of error codes to translate the numerical value returned by the API, into a meaningful and human readable message.
Win32::Console allows controling the windows command line terminal thru an OO-interface. This allows you to query the terminal (find its size, characters, attributes, etc). The interface and functionality should be identical to Perl's counterpart. A port of Perl's Win32::Console and Win32::Console::ANSI modules. This gem packages Gonzalo Garramuno's Win32::Console project, and includes a compiled binary for speed. The Win32::Console project's home can be found at: http://rubyforge.org/projects/win32console

The win32-ipc library provides the Win32::IPC class. This is meant to serve as an abstract base class for other IPC related libraries for MS Windows, such as win32-semaphore, win32-event, and so on.
The win32-mmap library provides an interface for memory mapped IO on MS Windows.
The win32-security library provides an interface for dealing with security related aspects of MS Windows, such as SID's, ACL's and ACE's.
The win32-clipboard library provides an interface for interacting with the Windows clipboard. It supports the ability to read and write text, images, files, and Windows metafiles.
The ffi-win32-extensions library adds additional methods to the FFI and String classes to aid in the development of FFI based libraries on MS Windows.
Windows Directory Monitor (WDM) is a library which can be used to monitor directories for changes. It's mostly implemented in C and uses the Win32 API for a better performance.
